Trade Facilitation Committee holds talks on air transport

The Trade Facilitation Committee of AmCham, Chaired by the General Manager of DHL in Chile and AmCham Director, Sandra Miró, met to participate in a study conducted by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) on the transport of cargo by air. Taking part in the meeting were AmCham member businesses that use air cargo terminals or which participate as actors in the logistics chain linked to airline traffic. This enabled the IDB consultants, Juan Pablo Antún and Rodrigo Alarcón, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the process and to conduct specific discussions for identifying the gaps and possibilities relating to air cargo at Chilean terminals.
