Ernesto Byrne Daniels, Commercial Director of Radisson Chile, has accepted the “Recognition of Achievement and Commitment to the National Tourism Industry” award at the XXXVI Annual Congress of the Chilean Association of Tourism Companies, ACHET, 2014.
With over 45 years of experience in the tourism industry, as well as having served in the most senior positions within different airlines, travel agencies and hotels, the business executive stated, “I accept this award on behalf of all the different pioneers of tourism in Chile that have been my mentors, and who are truly the creators of this wonderful business in our country”.
The Congress took place in the city of Iquique and was attended by national and regional authorities related to tourism, as well as senior executives from across the industry, including travel agencies, tour operators, airlines and trade associations from Chile and abroad. Throughout proceedings, participants discussed and analyzed the main issues facing both the domestic and South American tourism industry.
