Javier Irarrázaval holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Católica de Argentina.In 1990, he joined The Walt Disney Company in charge of consumer products and areas of licensing. He opened the first Disney offices in Latin America: The Walt Disney Company (Argentina) S.A., overseeing Argentina, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia. In 1995, he launched the Disney office in Brazil and since 1999 has been Managing Director of the Andean Region, which covers Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Chile.He was General Manager of Editorial Televisa in Argentina, Chair of Acción RSE between 2003 and 2007, and member of the Board at the UN Global Compact in Chile from 2006 to 2010. In October 2007 he was elected Chair of the Red Forum Empresa for the 2008 to 2009 period, and was subsequently re-elected in 2011. He was President of AmCham Chile between 2011 and 2013.
