Sandra is passionate about technology, education and innovation as pillars for the real transformation in our society. From different roles se has always tried to contribute to the growth of companies from industries as well as government agencies. She has more than 20 years of global experience in IT, finance, management and corporate governance. In June 2019, she assumed the position of Senior Vice President of Latin America, with the exception of Brazil and Mexico. Prior to that, Sandra led Oracle Chile in the role of General Manager in two periods, during 2018 and between 2011 and 2014. During her career in Oracle, she held the positions of Vice President of Investment Solutions and Financing for Asia – Pacific, based in Singapore, and Vice President of Corporate Sales in Japan. Prior to joining Oracle in 1999, she held various positions in the financial services industry both in Japan and Argentina.
Sandra has degrees in International Relations from Tsukuba University, Japan and Senior Management (PADE) from the University of Los Andes in Chile (ESE). Additionally, she has the Certification of Directors of the IoD (Institute of Directors) of the United Kingdom. Recently, she was distinguished for the second time in her career as one of the “100 Women Leaders in Chile” by Mujeres Empresarias and the newspaper El Mercurio. Sandra also serves as President of the Board of the Chilean American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) and as a Board Member of Banco de Chile and as a Board member of the Pan American Development Foundation and Fundación País Digital. She is also a member of Women Corporate Directors (WCD).
