Sustainability Committee

The Sustainability Committee focuses on strengthening the collaborative relationships of businesses with local communities in the areas in which they operate, sharing and analyzing best practices and trends in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The Committee analyses company/State and the civil society (community) engagement programs, as well as models and metrics relating to social returns on investment.

To promote and distinguish CSR projects as part of its remit relating to work with communities, the Sustainability Committee organizes AmCham Chile’s Good Corporate Citizenship Award.

Priority issues in 2015:

Building confidence between businesses and the community; experiences and best practices from the United States; identifying certifications, standards and metrics regarding community relations.
